Rasta Tadayon

Hi, I am Rasta! I am a fourth-year PhD student in Computer Science at the Jeong Lab and the REAL AI Lab at UC Santa Barbara. My research interests lie at the intersection of Fair Machine Learning, with a focus on Generative AI, and the application of AI for Science and Healthcare.

My current focus is on fine-tuning language models for confidence-calibrated predictions in the health domain. Previously, I studied how bias in missing-value imputation affects downstream fairness and developed methods to mitigate it using adversarial training.
